Privacy Policy & Data Security
At ASERENEWABLES, we hold the security of your site assessment data, electricity consumption history, and personal credentials to the highest global standards. Compliant with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023.
Information We Collect
To provide accurate solar plant engineering, DISCOM net-metering processing, government subsidy disbursement, and ongoing telemetric monitoring, ASERENEWABLES collects the following categories of data:
- Personal Identifier Information: Full name, phone number, email address, property ownership documentation, and billing address.
- Electricity Consumption Records: DISCOM utility account numbers, consumer numbers, past 12-month sanction load bills, and tariff category.
- Financial & Payment Details: Bank account details (strictly for government PM Surya Ghar / PM-KUSUM direct subsidy transfer processing).
- Digital Telemetry Data: Solar inverter IP, real-time generation output, energy export statistics, and system diagnostic error logs.
Site Assessment & Geo-Spatial Data Protection
During our structural rooftop survey and shadow analysis, our engineers collect high-resolution geo-spatial data, drone imagery, roof structural dimensions, and electrical panel photographs:
- Rooftop aerial and CAD 3D layout data is stored in isolated, encrypted cloud storage accessible only by certified structural engineers.
- We never share rooftop images or property layout schematics with third-party marketers or external contractors without your explicit written authorization.
- Case study photographs of completed installations are published only after redacting property identification details and securing client consent.
DISCOM Portal Credentials & Processing
For net-metering applications and grid inter-connection approvals submitted on regional DISCOM portals (e.g. PVVNL, UPVCL, BSES, DHBVN, TATA Power), ASERENEWABLES acts strictly as an authorized processing representative:
- DISCOM portal credentials provided by the client are encrypted using AES-256 standards and automatically purged upon meter commissioning.
- All net-metering application reference numbers and inspection reports remain confidential between the DISCOM authority, National Portal, and the client.
Data Security Standards
We implement enterprise-grade technical and organizational safeguards to ensure data integrity and confidentiality:
- TLS 1.3 Transport Security: All web traffic and API endpoints operate strictly over SSL/TLS encrypted sockets.
- Role-Based Access Control (RBAC): Employee access to customer files is strictly restricted to assigned project engineers and account managers.
- Annual Vulnerability Audits: Independent third-party cybersecurity audits conducted bi-annually on all cloud servers.
User Rights & Data Erasure (DPDP Act 2023)
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you retain full ownership and rights over your personal data:
- Right to Access: Request a copy of all stored personal and site survey records maintained by ASERENEWABLES.
- Right to Correction & Erasure: Request immediate correction of inaccurate data or permanent deletion of non-statutory records.
- Right to Withdraw Consent: Revoke marketing communications or non-essential data processing at any time.
